Terribly written, as though badly translated from another language. Some of the concepts were novel and important but actual technique not detailed enough for use clinically. Perhaps editing by a better writer would make this book readable

What a shame to read the negative reviews since his Retraining the Brain for me was transformative even though there were times where even as a psych nurse it got a little sloggy. Agree that a better editor might help Dr. Lawlis get his point across to "civilians".
